Japanese Studies Student Scholarships
1 Year Fully Paid
This scholarship is for students of Japanese language and culture seeking to expand their understanding of Japan by spending a year of their undergraduate education studying at a Japanese university.
Japanese language skill sufficient for college-level classes is required.

Teacher Training Scholarships
18 Months Fully Paid
This scholarship is for American teachers and education professionals, with a minimum of five years of teaching experience, to spend a year and a half studying the Japanese education system, allowing them to apply the experience in their own educational work in the United States.
Japanese language proficiency will be required for completion of some courses. If necessary, successful applicants will be enrolled in a six-month intensive Japanese language and culture course, and Japanese instruction may continue throughout the scholarship term.
