Asian Studies’ annual Sampling Asia Fair on the balcony of Manly Hall was a huge success. Students and faculty came out to enjoy samosas and pakora, watch movies, and learn about activities related to Asia at UA. In case you missed it, here is a visual taste of what happened.
Professor Zeyu Yang (visiting UA from Qingdao Agricultural University) and Prof. Doris Sung (Art History at UA) taught students Chinese calligraphy.
And Profs. Arizumi and Sung demonstrated the Taiko drums.
Thanks to everyone who made last night a great experience, including leaders of the Japan America Cultural Exchange Club and the Asian American Student Association who came to help other students learn about student organizations related to Asia.
